In the past eighteen months, Short Stack* (Shaun Diviney guitar / lead vocals, Andy Clemmensen bass / vocals and Bradie Webb drums / keyboards) has emerged as the hottest new young band in Australia. Full of energy, their music is a blend of many genres, including punk, glam and indie. Their lyrics are honest, witty and tongue in cheek all stitched together with teenage confessions. They have tackled the internet to showcase their musical abilities with astounding results; receiving over 2.6 million plays on their myspace www.myspace.com/shortstackband. They have also created their own youtube channel www.youtube.com/shortstackband which includes their self filmed day in the life of Short Stack TV. This has received over 500,000 views and in February 2008 was the #1 most viewed internationally!
Short Stack have just won Channel V's Aus Artist of the year, gathering an overwhelming number of votes from their fanatical fanbase. Their new single 'Princess' is due to be released in early March, shortly followed by their debut album, 'Stack is the New Black'.
On stage performing live the raw talents of Short Stack are easily seen and fans will have the opportunity to see the boys live as they release the new single PRINCESS with an exclusive show being the PRINCESS BALL Sat 14 March 2009 at the Sydney Entertainment Centre Harbour Theatre.
