Jan Lamb

 Jan Lam is a popular DJ, singer and actor in Hong Kong. He first began his entertainment career by forming a comedic musical duo with fellow actor and comedian Eric Kot, called ‘SoftHard’. His fans and popularity mainly grew from his successful programs hosted for Commercial Radio Hong Kong. In 2005, Jan first started his standup comedy shows at Elizabeth Stadium in Hong Kong. Its great success has brought him opportunities to continue his stand up comedy series in 2006, 2008 and 2009.

Apart from entertainment, he also contributes a lot on product design. He graduated from a Hong Kong design school where he met Eric, his first music and DJ partner and Wing, his T-shirt design partner. Most of his design and figure is inspired from his nickname “Lamb Dog”. The sophisticated and cute designs of his product have opened up his young and trendy market and strengthened his popularity in the industry.

 
As he began his entertainment career as a singer and DJ in early 90’s, his performance contains lots of music elements. He writes many parody songs for his comedy routines. In his show, Jan also puts a lot of effort on the theatrical component and production. This differentiates his show from other stand up comedians and enhances the attractiveness of his show.

 
30mething Scary is part of Jan’s series of Stand Up Comedy for 2011/12. He started his world tour in Hong Kong in October 2011. Apart from his 1st ever Australian tour in 2012, he will also be performing at Guangzhou and Malaysia.
